Tennis Elbow - Lateral Epicondilitis

Tennis Elbow is a condition known as Lateral Epicondilitis in medical terminology. It is an inflammation of the lateral side of the elbow, sometimes radiating towards the wrist too. It is a painful condition caused by the overuse and/or inflammation primarily of the muscles/tendons of the extensor origin muscles of the Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis Muscle, which causes small microscopic tears of the tendon where it is attached to the lateral part of the elbow. This causes pain, inflammation, swelling &/or degeneration of the elbow with weaker gripping strength. This condition is not only confined to tennis players ,but anyone can get it, usually through repetitive type of movements or exercises. It may also limit your Range of Motion too (ROM) .
